Four steps from nothing to UNIT in your wallet. The whole thing takes a couple of minutes.
1. Get a TRON wallet
Any TRON wallet works. The app supports TronLink, WalletConnect (including mobile and Ledger Live), MetaMask with the TRON Snap, TokenPocket, and Ledger.
Make sure the wallet is unlocked before you click Connect. A locked extension answers a connection request by opening its unlock prompt, and if you close that prompt the request stays queued in the wallet — see Troubleshooting.
2. Fund it with USDT and a little TRX
You need two things:
- USDT (TRC-20) — what you are converting into UNIT.
- TRX — TRON charges network fees in TRX, and a wallet holding only USDT cannot pay them. This is the single most common reason a first transaction fails. See TRON fees and energy.
3. Open the app and connect
Go to the app and connect your wallet. The app checks that the service is available in your region before it offers anything; if it is not, you will see a notice instead of the form.
4. Mint
Enter an amount, and the app walks three steps:
- Approve USDT — one signature letting the Minter contract pull your USDT. Done once per wallet, not per mint.
- Verify — screening runs on your address. If it clears, an authorisation is issued.
- Mint — the transaction settles and UNIT lands in your wallet.
Tick Stake UNIT automatically after minting and steps 2 and 3 do both at once, in a single transaction.
